The Jordanian American Association (JAA) of Northern California is a non-profit organization that promotes greater harmony amongst individuals of Jordanian descent, as well as individuals not of Jordanian descent through Arabic arts, literary work, language, food and other Jordanian traditions. The JAA also establishes social and cultural functions to bring together the Jordanian American community and other individuals around the world. The Association also assists Jordanian immigrants and students to accustom to the lifestyle of the United States and to comfortably adapt to the community.

The JAA seeks to provide educational assistance and financial support to Jordanian Americans in the community who do not have sufficient resources and opportunities for a higher education. We also support many other non-profit organizations, the less fortunate and the needy by providing financial, health and clothing aide. We value diversity, generosity, independence, and the collaboration of many different individuals. We strive to enrich the lives of the generations to come with the vitality of the Jordanian culture and traditions. We hope to make a difference in the world and to make our mission a reality. The Jordanian American Association of Northern California seeks to build bridges and strengthen relations between the Jordanian communities in the United States of America and also in our homeland, Jordan.

The JAA is committed to create awareness of the history, culture, diversity and beauty of the many generations of Jordanian Americans around the world. We organize social events and activities to engage a diverse population of the community, including youth, women’s groups, students and the elderly.
